BASSic Training by Concept Crew Review at Liquid Charms, Philadelphia PA

Djs for the night: SwingKidd, Acelogik, Force, Mr. Saturn, J-Ryme vs. Lenny Breaks.
MCs for the night: Rare BKi, Crash Overide, and Dirty Work
RIX models: Lauren and Jennifer

Upstairs at an intimate venue in the heart of Philly's Chinatown, you'll find the Concept Crew ( pumping Drum & Bass every 2nd Wednesday of each month. Organized by Keven Concept, BASSic Training features local DJs, residents, and special guests and is also Philly's only recurring 18+ D&B event.

On a regular basis the decks are controlled by the resident soldiers: Dr.Stepper, J.Treehorn, Mr.Saturn, M.Tech, Deucewild, Acelogik & Swingkidd, and the microphones are commanded by MC Rare BKi, Alpha MC, Miss Conception & random appearances from the one like Dirty Work.

On this particular Wednesday, Jan 12th, The Concept Crew has brought together a "variety pack" of people. Combining a night of Hip Hop and Drum & Bass with DJs plus their fans from NY,NJ & PA as well as the presence of the RIX Entertainment/ models Lauren and Jennifer ( made this night a big success! A nice crowd developed early including regulars & many new faces too. It was such a great turnout that they even decided to keep it free admission all night!

From the beginning the event was full of energy of good times from a hip hop set/scratch battle from Philly‚s own SwingKidd & NJ‚s own Acelogik both from Concept Crew. Then the place started to get the masses in just in time for the high energy set from NYC‚s Force ( giving the crowd what they needed with roller after roller and the vocal support from NJ‚s own MC Crash Overide ( making sure the crowd was satisfied and can‚t forget to mention the microphone support from Philly‚s MC Rare BKi and MC Dirty Work with his original style of MC‚ing during this high energy set.

With an already ripened crowd Concept Crew‚s Mr. Saturn took over the decks followed by NJ‚s J-Ryme & Lenny Breaks ( both rinsing it out for the people of the city of Brotherly Love Philadelphia.

I give this event a high rating of satisfaction and a definite must go if you are in the Philadelphia area. The crowd is awesome full of beautiful girls (as always in Philly) and I heard from these beautiful girls that there were plenty of potential guys in the crowd so there are possibilities when you come make the trip. The atmosphere and the vibe were flawless and the bartender is off the chain and just an overall cool ass chic and the drink specials are damn good so come out early. For those not in the Philadelphia area or those who want to sample something before they head down to Philly you can hear Concept Crew‚s internet radio show called Home Bass broadcasting live from McGuire Air Force Base in NJ every Thursday 6 - 9pm EST on which is brought to you by: ConceptCrew.US and The show is hosted by the Alpha MC and Feat. DJ's are Deucewild & Ace Logik with a special guest DJ(s) every week!

Much respect to Keven Concept of Concept Crew for giving us at Cyber Groove Productions/Artist Management a night to remember.

One Love!
